What about link building?

Link building, the way many optimizers often do it, is not my cup-o-Tea mainly because I am against linking from or to a site such as a link farm, designed exclusively for that purpose. I would prefer to link to site's that are relevant to at least one particular page or project as opposed to linking to a site with no relevance at all. Sure you may possibly build rank faster but you can also find your site bottomed out or with demerit's fast. Take this site for example: The thing about spy curb is it has a multi side when it comes to spying on the bad guys and throwing a curb on the previously spied, from and on other sites; hence often a very hard theme to find a constant or single specific match.
