SCN and E.F. Host Server IP's

You need not miss surfing your favorite Web site due to Domain name Server ( DNS ) downtime, just
enter your choice of IP's in your local
host file.
If you already know how to make an entry in your windows or other OS host file; the following example
has some IP's you can enter; to access
The Shepherd's chapel and
Elect Forum Web-Site
host server as directly as possible without the need to call on Domain Name Servers every time you
click a link to go there, this works when clicking links on Web pages, search engines and such that
carry Web site Page Names and addresses.
(This changes nothing as long as those IP's to their host remain the same.)
Should someone decides to change the IP back at a Host Server( which is doubtful ) once you get the
new one simply paste it over the old one.
Continue to surf listed sites during DNS problems
Using the host file in this manner can spare you some time getting to the site while DNS is having
problems and down for the count.
With this host file in place and loaded properly; you may continue to access any listed site during a
DNS malfunction or poisoning.
Poisoning occurs when the real IP s are overwritten, when someone attempts to access a site they
are redirected (Hi-Jacked) to a different IP belonging to machine or server other than the proper or
desired machine / IP; usually to an IP belonging to or in connection with the ( poisoning source )
intruder, black hacker, etc. You can copy the layout below as a example guide and layout if you like or
downloaded a preformed host file near the bottom of this page.

"Windows" host file path notes:
The normal path with a default windows install is:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Go there to open the host file, there is no extension such as txt, so make sure it remains absent of one when you save any additions or make changes)
If your install named the windows directory other than windows, then substitute that for your path, the other folders should have remained the same.
example:
C:\your_windows_directory_name\system32\drivers\etc

If you are running Windows Vista you may need to run notepad (or whatever text editor you use) as administrator due to the added host file protection in
that O,S.
