There are a lot of area's one could optimise rather than The web or web page.
Search Engine optimization is probably one of the most popular Internet Work related subjects you'll
run across when building a web site.
Never before has so many turned to offer their version of the fix all for web site owners. Most
anyone can optimize their own site key words and description, but few have the connections or time
involved in getting connected to worthy networks capable of sending traffic.
Think about that for a moment, the whole picture shrieks of misfortune simple because those who
have traffic aren't willing to give it up and those that do not may never; without the help of some
outside source.
Spam hysteria
I suppose word of mouth could bring in some hits but since the spam hysteria, e-mail won't work and
in part due to services such as Spamhaus that provide list to make it impossible for the layperson on
his home connection to send a hello without contouring their blog, forum web site and other forms of
E-mail related content deleavery to use their local ISP E-mail servers ; a thing that Spamhaus
offshore anti-US spam rules website has no business sticking their nose into, and in the name of
fighting spam of all things. There is also another side of the E-mail blocking story where they are
also known to block businesses within list of Static IPs that block huge area's or net mask where
anyone in between the lower and upper IP addresses are blocked even though they are not spammers,
and getting off that list means dealing with the list provider and since they are in the middle it
is most often counted as a small loss from both the list providers and E-mail services using those
list; but then Spamhaus doesn't pay your bills and being offshore puts them out of the reach of US
laws and statutes;; you can sue but even if you get one of those responsible to show up in US Court,
they simply return home without paying up. (That has actually happened)
There has never been a worse time to get on the net , if you plan on making a profit or simply wish
to pick up a few pennies using ads. I can only suppose that the big guys (E-mail services such as
Yahoo) will let up by putting a stop to those things that hinder by ceasing to use those offshore
blacklist; should they finally realize that what goes around comes around, and you reap what you
sow, but then again as long as they are profiting a little they may assume it is all due to the
economy; and with the attitude of most being why should they care ? It probable won't happen anyway.
Optimize Beyond The Web
If you plan to make it on the net, don't bother , become a farmer or plant some trees for wood or
fruit. One thing is for sure, one can't eat an I pod, computer, desk (although you could use it for
wood) and the attitude of big business isn't getting any better, so the most practical source of
production is to slip back a couple of hundred years and live like there were no computers ; or at
least no world wide web. Just something to think about: Too many electronics in the world and none
of them produce anything eatable, if you want to Optimize something, do it outside. Now go break out
those Horses and Oxen and have a nice day.
